East Windsor Township Recognizes "Adopt-A-Spot" Participants

East Windsor’s Township Clean Communities Committee and Mayor Janice Mironov recognized organizations that participated in the 2011 “Adopt-A-Spot” program at a recent event, according to a news release.

The program has various community organizations “adopt” a public spot in the community, and clean it up throughout the year, the release said. A sign is placed at the location with the name of the group that cleaned it.

“We are pleased to have young people involved in a program of community service and exhibit pride in how our community looks,” Mironov said in the release.
