Five Things to Do This Weekend

Highlights include an author visit, family-friendly coffeehouse evening of music, art and poetry and a day of scrapbooking.

 

Magic Improv Night. Local magicians are invited to perform a little magic on stage for all ages to enjoy. Free, family-friendly fun, Friday at 6:30 p.m. 

Hightstown High School Coffee House. Bring the whole family for a evening of music, art and poetry by Hightstown High School students in a relaxing 'coffee house' setting, $5, Friday at 7 p.m.

Scrap-A-Rama at St. David's Episcopal Church. Catch up with your scrapbooking and enjoy time with friends. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included. Reps will be onsite for Scrapbooking and Stampin’ Up demos and shopping. Enjoy goody bags, giveaways and a chair massage, $50, Saturday at 9 a.m. 

Ninja Pigs: author visit and karate demonstration. Enjoy an author read-aloud of The Three Ninja Pigs and learn some cool karate moves, ges 5–10. Free, but please register at 609-448-1474, Saturday at 3 p.m.

Comedy Night to Benefit Hightstown High School Varsity Cheerleaders. Have some laughs with local comedian Jimmy Carroll, who is touring with his new show "The Last Of The Boomers." Chip Chantry will also perform. $20 at the door or by calling Chris 267-374-0732, Saturday at 8 p.m.
