Cranbury Limousine Service goes the extra mile to make its customers happy

What do June brides, prom dates and cruise vacationers have in common? For those in the greater central New Jersey area who are looking to arrive at their destination in style and on time, they know that the Cranbury Limousine Service will deliver quality, professional service beyond their expectations.

Owned and operated by Christine A. Thompson and her business partner, Frank C. Vesci, the idea of launching their limousine service was born over dinner at the Cranbury Inn. By August of 2008, their business was launched and it has grown to be regarded as one of the most dependable and professionally operated limousine services in the area.

Thompson, a 35-year resident of the Cranbury area, is also a licensed New Jersey funeral director and serves as the Secretary Treasurer of the Mercer County Funeral Directors Association. In addition to her transportation business, Thompson heads the Cranbury Business and Professional Association, which will continue its long sponsoring of the annual Cranbury Day Street Fair scheduled for Sept. 10. Co-owner, Frank Vesci, from Yardley, Pa., is also a licensed funeral director.

Ideally located between New York City and Philadelphia, the Cranbury Limousine Service will take you to the three area airports and cruise terminals. “We even took a client to Baltimore’s BWI Airport when his outbound flight was changed to Baltimore and not Newark but we did it,” the confident Thompson pointed out.

Thompson and her highly trained staff will take the worry out of transportation needs for family reunions, weddings, or perhaps a leisurely night on the town to take in a Broadway show.

“At the last Cranbury Day, we raffled off a free limousine service,” said Thompson. “ We also have offered a complementary gift certificate for a dinner at the Yardley Inn.”

As the leader of the Cranbury Business and Professional Association, Thompson spoke of her goals and the mission of that organization.

“I work along with Rocco D’Aumermino, Christine Ondocin of Gil & Berts as well as Pat Bielat of Pat’s Decor Shop and Andrew Feldman at the Bookworm. Our goal is to promote the business community in town,” she explained.

Meeting over coffee recently at Teddy’s restaurant, Thompson went on to say, “We have very few problems with our service. We know that ‘word of mouth’ and referrals from our regular clients keep us busy.”

However there are many rewarding moments as well.

“We once had a client ask if we could make a stop at the kennel where their dog had been staying. We said sure, no problem.” She added that it was not an inconvenience to stop and have a passenger run in to pick up a brick oven Cranbury pizza before going home.

Becoming quite serious though, Thompson added, “When we pick up a group of high school kids for a prom, I see them as ‘precious cargo.’ When they are with us we feel we are carrying their entire families.”

There was a famous tagline in a commercial a while back that told us “And leave the driving to us.” If you are searching for a local business that will deliver you to your destination in style while also meeting your special needs, you may want to call Christine Thompson’s Cranbury Limousine Service and leave the driving to them.
