Report: East Windsor Teen Charged with Stealing Video Game From Plainsboro Man

The teenager was to purchase the game from 20-year-old man, but he left without paying for it.

An East Windsor teenager was charged with stealing a video game and possession of drug paraphernalia over the weekend, nj.com reports. 

The unidentified 17-year-old allegedly met with a 20-year-old man outside the victim’s home in Plainsboro to purchase the game, according to the report. The meeting was set up by a third-party.

After taking the game, the teenager began walking away without paying for it, and when the victim pursued, the teenager threatened him with physical violence and said he had a gun, according to the report. Police told nj.com no gun was found.

The teenager was arrested the following day, according to the report. At that time, the teenager was found in possession of marijuana rolling papers, according to the report.

He was charged with robbery and possession of drug paraphernalia. He was taken to the Middlesex County Youth Detention Center pending an appearance in family court, according to the report.
