Week Ahead: Cranbury Council Meeting Moved to Tuesday

Busy week ahead in East Windsor, Hightstown and Cranbury

Residents in East Windsor, Hightstown, and Cranbury will have plenty to do this week with the Passover holiday starting tonight for some and the Easter holiday just around the corner for others. 

In Cranbury, the meeting of the Township Council scheduled for tonight has been postponed until tomorrow. Set to convene at 7 p.m., the agenda, which is attached to this story, includes several ordinances relating to zoning in the township. There will also be a presentation on the "Downtown Beautification Project," and a report from the Chairperson of the township's Historic Preservation Commission.

The Hightstown Enviornmental Commission is scheduled to meet at 7:30 at the Housing Authority building on Tuesday also.

The Hightstown Borough Council will hold a special meeting on Thursday night at 6:30 at the First Aid Building. According to a notice on the borough's website the Borough Council will hold special meetings on the last Thursday of the month through September "to discuss and act upon the Borough Hall Project."

The borough offices will be closed on Friday.

On Saturday the Middlesex County Health Department will hold a rabies Clinic at the Cranbury Firehouse, located at 23A North Main Street. The clinic is scheduled to run from noon until 2 p.m.
