Weekend Guide: Family Night in the Park

Art exhibit, concerts and farmers markets.

East Windsor will present a , beginning at 7 p.m. on Saturday at .

Activities will include inflatable rides, games and vendors. There will also be a showing of the movie "Cars 2," which is about the adventures and friendship of racecar Lightning McQueen and tow truck Mater.

Friday, July 27:

  • The Gourgard Gallery is presenting the exhibit from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The exhibit features paintings by Linda Gilbert.
  • The  will present a at 10 a.m. The class will teach participants how to place holds, view an account and get better results when searching the online catalog.
  •  will present a , beginning at 11:30 a.m. 
  •  will take place from noon to 4 p.m. at Park Place West on Grass Common Area. Items for sale include fruits and vegetables, honey, baked goods, flowers and crafts.
  • will be open from 4 to 8 p.m. at . In addition to vendors selling fresh goods, the market also offers live music and paddle boat rides in Peddie Lake.
  • will hold a at 6 p.m. The Shabbat will feature services, followed by dinner.

Saturday, July 28:

  •  will host a Youth Stages Drama Workshop at 11 a.m. Kids ages six to 10 can participate in this drama program based on Mary Pope Osborne's Magic Tree House book, "Midnight on the Moon."
  • will perform a concert , beginning at 6 p.m. The duo consists of guitarist-singers Natalie Ortega and Caila Cabrera, who recently released their first single "Wreck Over You" on iTunes.
  • will hold its monthly , beginning 8 p.m.
