Afternoon Movie: Flight at Hickory Corner Branch of the Mercer County Library. Denzel Washington stars as an airline pilot who miraculously crash lands his plane after a mid-air catastrophe, saving nearly everyone on board. Rated R Friday at 2 p.m., Free. 

First-ever Karaoke Night at Teddy's Restaurant. Bring out your inner superstar. Step up to the microphone and show the world how talented you are. Whether it's singing your favorite Bruce Springsteen song or any other artist you like, this is your night to shine. Friday at 6 p.m., Free

at Cranbury Public Library. Peter Wise will speak about Agnes Wilson, a prominent African-American woman and her part in the development of Cranbury. Other town residents will join him in a panel discussion on African Americans in Cranbury. Friday at 7 p.m., Free

Acting Naturally presents Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at the Newtown Theatre. The musical features the Biblical saga of Joseph and his coat of many colors. After he is sold into slavery by his jealous brothers and taken to Egypt, Joseph experiences a series of adventures in which his spirit and humanity are continually challenged. Friday at 8 p.m., Saturday at 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. and Sunday at 3 p.m., $23.

Red Riding Hood and Other Stories at Grounds for Sculpture. Journey into the imaginary world of Little Red Riding Hood and other Once Upon A Time favorites during this enchanting collection of classic tales presented with a contemporary spin. Suitable for grades 1 through 5. Sunday at 2 p.m., Free with park admission.
