Saturday, Sept. 29

Hightstown Engine Co. #1 will be selling breast cancer awareness t-shirts in front of the firehouse from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Proceeds will benefit Susan G Komen.

AFEW Pet Adoption Day occurs every Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. They have many animals up for adoption, including dogs and cats of all ages, colors, sizes, and more. 

The Friends of the Twin Rivers Library will celebrate National Coffee Day by serving free coffee all day, beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Walk for the Well Walkathon, sponsored by First Presbyterian Church of Hightstown and supported by other area churches, will raise funds for a critically needed well that would make a medical clinic operational in Ehiamatuo, Ghana. Registration is from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m. at Etra Lake Park.

Sunday, Sept. 30

Peddie School Admission Open House at 1 p.m. will feature a panel discussion and campus tours for prospective families.
