Hightstown Council Incumbents Voted Out of Office

Democratic challengers Steven Misiura and Denise Hansen won the election.

Hightstown residents headed to the polls on Tuesday to cast their vote for Borough Council and Republican incumbents Lynne Woods and Selena Bibens were voted out of office by Democratic challengers Denise Hansen and Steven Misiura, according to the unofficial election results provided by the Mercer County Clerk. The terms on the council are for three years. 

The unofficial results as of 10 p.m. on Tuesday are as follows:

  • Lynne Woods: 18.44% with 433 votes
  • Selena Bibens: 17.38% with 408 votes
  • Steven Misiura: 32.45% with 762 votes
  • Denise Hansen: 31.60% with 742 votes
