Beatles 50th Anniversary Celebration at Teddy's Restaurant

Where were you in February ‘64? Remember the Beatles?

Can you recall the frenzy at JFK Airport as the Beatles first set foot on American soil? Were you lucky enough to catch their first U.S. appearance on the Ed Sullivan Show on February 9, 1964? If you were, consider yourself fortunate enough to be a part of music history. As a result of that single performance, hundreds of young boys were moved to pick up a guitar and form their own band. There was no question … Beatlemania had arrived!

To mark the 50th
anniversary of the Beatles first visit to the U.S., Teddy’s Restaurant (49. N. Main Street) in Cranbury will be the site of a very special occasion to commemorate this memorable time in history.

Be sure to mark your calendars for Saturday, February 8. The event will run from 6-9PM. The restaurant is BYOB and there is NO cover charge. Teddy’s has a great menu as well as tasty specials.

Local DJ Brett Gash will be on hand to spin all the Fab Four’s timeless classics. So stop by and test your memory in a trivia contest, enjoy vintage Beatles videos, and view a front window display that is sure to bring back countless memories.

The Beatles changed the face of music forever. They surely are “Four Lads Who Shook the World”.
