Board Certified Dermatologist to Discuss Skin Care in MCCC Lecture Nov. 27

Board Certified Dermatologist and nationally recognized speaker Brian Keegan, M.D., Ph.D., will give a talk at Mercer County Community College at noon on Tuesday, Nov. 27, in the Communications Building, room 109.  The discussion, “Healthy Skin: Self-Care and Expert Treatment to Maintaining Healthy Skin,” is part of the college’s Fall Distinguished Lecture Series held at the West Windsor campus, 1200 Old Trenton Road.  The lecture is free and open to the public.


Dr. Keegan practices at Windsor Dermatology, located in East Windsor, where he specializes in all aspects of skin care.  His topics will include general skin care, maintenance of youthful skin, and how to recognize potentially concerning lesions.  He will share expertise about over-the-counter remedies for several common skin disorders and also explain the dermatologist’s role in treating common and more serious skin conditions.


Dr. Keegan has Doctor of Medicine, Doctor of Philosophy, and Master of Science degrees from New York University.  He completed his internship in Transitional Medicine at St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Center in New York City and his residency in Dermatology at University of Miami Miller School of Medicine.

He is a faculty member of the American Academy of Dermatology and has been honored with a number of grants, fellowships and awards, including recognition from the National Institutes of Health and the American Medical Association.
