Colonial Cranbury in Perspective

Seton Hall professor Maxine Lurie is an expert on New Jersey in the 17th and 18th centuries and on New Jersey's role in the American Revolution. Dr. Lurie will present a brief overview of the origins of the state compared to Cranbury and the other New Jersey towns, as well as other parts of Colonial America. Her emphasis will be on settlement patterns, and the religious and ethnic background of the people who came  to settle in early America.
