Trenton Area Soup Kitchen to Serve Thanksgiving Meal

Volunteers serving on the Thanksgiving holiday are already filled, but there are openings for serving on Christmas.

On a day of expressing gratitude for one’s blessings, there is nothing more appropriate than volunteering your time to serve food to those who are less fortunate.

Every Thanksgiving holiday, the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen serves a Thanksgiving dinner to members of the community in need. Every patron is served a full dinner and is provided with an additional hot meal to take home. They are also provided with a mid-day bag and a bag of candy, according to the TASK website.

Each year about 100 volunteers come together to work on the holiday. The Tollgate School in Pennington has provided food and decorations to TASK for the past sixteen years.
