The Brothers Pizza & Pasta Gators and CCL Label Dominators met in a head-to-head, two-game series this past weekend where both teams competed at a higher level. In the series opener the Gators were led by the combined pitching of Joe Debrule, Luis Colon, and Zach Houtenville. The hitting was sparked with the bats of Lucas Marshall and Jonathan Drews. The Dominators were led in the first inning by the super pitching efforts of Aidan Richardson followed by some great at bats by Jordan Sobers, Griffin Burd, and Fadil Meeran. After many innings of play the game ended in a 7-7 tie.

In game two of the series the Dominators found their bats midway through the game and had great hits by many producing 8 runs overall to eventually outscore the Gators 8-5. Defensively Josh Rubinstein had a gold glove play throwing a runner out at first, brothers Luc and Ike Marino both had heads up plays on the field keeping their team in the running, and Spencer Taussig had a stellar performance behind the plate. The Gators were led by combined pitching of John O'Brien, Jeremy Bogen, and Aaron Uy. Michael Drews had great speed on the bases and the hitting was sparked with the bats of Tariq Clopton, Viram Srinath and (up-and-comer) Christopher Drews.
