Weekend Guide: Wine and Cheesecake Tasting Benefit

Fish fry, sports equipment sale and breakfast with the bunny.

Hightstown Pedestrian Bridge Committee is holding a at the  beginning at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The event will feature specialty beers, with 100 percent of proceeds going to the Bridge Fund.

Must be 21 to taste and 14 to attend. Soda, tea and coffee will also be provided. Tickets cost $25 at the door, $20 advance. Tickets are available at the and or email Darek Hahn darekleo@yahoo.com.

Friday, March 30:

  • is holding a  from 5 to 8 p.m. each Fridays during lent, and offer fish, shrimp or salmon with pasta and marinara or clam sauce. Price includes salad and dessert. The cost is $9, and kids under 5 eat free.

  •  will hold a beginning at 9 a.m. at 30 Airport Road in Hightstown. Girl Scout Troop #71032 has collected a large variety of gently new and used sports equipment and will be distributing it to the community at the PAL fields for a very small charge. Equipment available includes balls, cleats, bats, gloves, field hockey sticks, ice hockey sticks, tennis racquets, skates and helmets.

Sunday, April 1:

  • will host at 8 a.m. There will be a buffet menu and kids will take home a craft that the bunny will help them make. The cost is $7 at the door, $6 in advance. Kids prices are $5 at the door, $3 in advance.
