East Windsor Obituary: Dolores Bergmann, 76

Bergmann lived in East Windsor since 1978.

Dolores J. Bergmann (Parella), 76, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 17, 2013, at the University Medical Center of Princeton at Plainsboro. Dolores resided in East Windsor since 1978. She was raised in Kenilworth and was a graduate of Jonathan Dayton Regional High School in Springfield. Dolores retired from PPPL after 26 years in 2006. She was a member of the Cranbury United Methodist Church, Hightstown Women's Club and Another World Miniature Club & Name.

The daughter of the late Robert J. and Stella Parella, she was predeceased by her brothers, Robert Jr. and Richard Parella. She was the devoted wife of D. Keith Bergmann for 56 years and loving mother to her sons, Scott K. Bergmann and Bradley K. Bergmann. She is also survived by sisters-in-law, Kathleen Parella of Bayville, Nancy Parella of Warrenton, VA, and Corinne Smith of Jacksonville, FL and an uncle, Richard Parella of FL. She will be remembered for her excellent skills in all forms of crafts, knitting and sewing and her reaching out to all the children of her family and friends.

Calling hours will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Oct. 21 and from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 22 at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton St., Hightstown. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Graceland Memorial Park in Kenilworth. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her name to Cranbury United Methodist Church (Church Restoration), 21 North Main St., Cranbury, NJ 08512.
