Harry Arthur 63, of East Windsor, died on Tuesday February 26, 2013. He was born in Jersey City and was a lifelong resident of Weehawken moving to East Windsor 10 years ago. Harry was a sports celebrity in Hudson County as a star basketball player for Weehawken High School, Jacksonville University and St. Peter's College. He was given All County and All State honors in High School and was eventually named to the Weehawken High, St. Peter's College and Hudson County Halls of Fame. He was a police officer for the Port Authority of NY/NJ for 24 years retiring in 1999. He will be greatly missed by his many close friends and comrades of the Port Authority Police Department.
Harry was the beloved husband of Rhoda Anderson. He was the dear brother of Diane Bollerman and husband Tom as well as the loving uncle of Jen Bollerman Becker, Jeffrey and Thomas Bollerman. He was also survived by his mother-in-law, Florence Johnson and many cousins.
The funeral will be on Monday March 4, 2013 at 11 AM at the Leber funeral Home. The interment is private. The visitation will be on Saturday March 2, 2013 from 3-5 PM and Sunday March 3, 2013 from 3-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Harry's name may be made to: AdoptABoxer Rescue PO.
