Erlinda C. Samera, 63, died Wednesday, Oct. 30, 2013, at Hamilton Continuing Care Center. Born in San Carlos City, Philippines, she was an area resident for the past 25 years. She worked at CNA Insurance Co. in South Brunswick and was a member of St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in Hightstown.
Daughter of the late Celedonio Samera, she is survived by her mother, Carmen Samera; seven sisters, Lydia Vallarta, Sylvia Marfil, Aida Garcia, Letty Eule, Alice Yanza, Gloria Dela Cruz, Thelma Alata, and one brother, Perfecto Samera.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 5, at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church, 251 Franklin Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520. Entombment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway. Friends may call 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 31; 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 2, and 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 3, at the Barlow & Zimmer Funeral Home, 202 Stockton Street, Hightstown, NJ 08520
