Very impressed at candidate debate in Princeton

Last Tuesday, I went to the League of Women Voters' debate for the Democrats running in the 12th Congressional District. Upendra Chivukula showed why he's the best candidate to succeed Rush Holt in Congress.

As an Assemblyman, Chivukula's been a proud advocate for clean energy, technology, and education here in New Jersey, and I'm confident he'll stand for the same priorities in Washington. He'll push back against Tea Party Republicans as they try to cut everything from Medicare to Obamacare. He's smart, he's hard-working, and he's just the kind of representative central Jersey deserves.

Congressman Holt has done our area proud in his years in Washington, and now we have a chance to pick a Democrat who will continue his legacy. On June 3rd, remember to vote for Upendra Chivukula.
