Commercial Burglary Spree Includes East Windsor Business, 4 Suspects in Custody

Corner Copia in East Windsor was one of many commercial burglaries involving four individuals, according to New Jersey State Police.

Two suspects were charged on Wednesday in connection with the burglary of Corner Copia Garden Center, the East Windsor Township Police Department announced. A police investigation of the April 4 burglary, where $300 in cash was stolen from the register, involved other law enforcement agencies who helped identify the suspects.

Francisco Chadwick, 25, of New Egypt, and Heather Yesuvida, 24, of Cream Ridge, were both charged with burglary and theft. According to New Jersey State Police, Chadwick and Yesuvida were two of four individuals involved in a commercial burglary ring that police believe are responsible for over twenty burglaries.

Chadwick was already in police custody at the Ocean County Jail serving a drug court violation and he was served the additional charges on Monday. Chadwick also faces additional charges by the New Jersey State Police stemming from other burglaries he allegedly was involved in State Police patrolled areas. According to State Police, he is currently remanded in Ocean County Jail on $150,000 bail.

Yesuvida was arrested on Wednesday from her Cream Ridge home. She posted $2,000 bail and was released by East Windsor Police pending court. However, Yesuvida was also charged by New Jersey State Police on conspiracy to commit burglary, receiving stolen property, and possession of burglary tools. She is currently lodged in the Monmouth County Jail in lieu of $40,000 full cash bail, State Police said.

Chadwick was identified as the main suspect by Detectives from the Troop “C” Criminal Investigations Office and the Crime Scene Investigations Central Unit in coordination with the Federal Bureau of Investigation. According to police, Chadwick allegedly enlisted Yesuvida, Ivins, and Laczny, as his lookouts and drivers. The individuals reportedly used two-way radios and other means to avoid police detective while robbing the businesses.

"Video surveillance reviewed by investigators captured a man to believed to be Chadwick, wearing a mask, hat, hooded sweatshirt, jeans, and a coat," the report issued by State Police Friday stated. "Prior to entering a location, he allegedly cut wires in an attempt to disarm alarm systems. Once inside, he is believed to have stolen money, computers, electronics and alcohol."

Chadwick's home and Yesuvida's car were searched by State Police; two-way radios, a ski mask, a camera, and other evidence were recovered. Additionally, both Chadwick and Yesuvida reportedly exchanged coins for cash at a Freehold Township business.

Additional charges against these individuals are expected to come from Allentown Borough, Plumstead Township, Jackson Township, Hammontown Township, and Franklin Borough.
