Afternoon Fire on Dutch Neck Road Sees Minor Damage

A crew from East Windsor Fire Co. #1 responded to the fire and quickly secured the scene.

East Windsor Fire Co. # 1 responded to a small residential  fire at 440 Dutch Neck Rd at 3:45 p.m. on Saturday, March 5.

Fire Chief Kevin Brink said that the two homeowners were able to get out of the house uninjured and firefighters contained the blaze shortly after arriving on the scene.

Faulty electrical wiring was the cause of the fire, which damaged a portion of an interior bedroom wall in the home, said Chief Brink.
