Burglaries at Princeton Arms Apartment, Township Building, Hunan Wok

Two burglaries and one theft took place in East Windsor recently.

The East Windsor Police Department is reporting three burglaries within the past few weeks.

At some point between 10:30 p.m. on Jan. 11 and 2:30 a.m. on Jan. 12 someone burglarized an apartment at the Princeton Arms South 2 complex. A 40 in. Sony Bravia television valued at $1,300, a second Sony Bravia of unknown size valued at $800, an Xbox controller and five games valued at $400, and $320 in cash were stolen from the apartment, according to police. This crime is still under investigation.

An East Windsor Township owned building on Milford Road (the building was not specified) was burglarized at some point between 3 p.m. on Jan. 17 and 10:35 a.m. on Jan. 18. The building was illegally entered and a space heater, valued at about $50, was stolen. The basement door of the building was damaged during the burglary and the estimated cost to repair the damage is $25, police reported. This incident is still under investigation.

At some point between Dec. 1, 2012 and Jan. 14, 2013 approximately $300 to $400 worth of cooking oil was stolen from behind Hunan Wok. The suspect also damaged the storage container, which is valued at about $500, police reported.
