East Windsor and Hightstown Residents Face Driving and Drug Charges
The following arrest information was supplied by the police department of Hightstown Borough. It does not indicate a conviction.
A parking violation Sunday morning resulted in a driver and passengers being arrested on drug charges.
Jorge Guaman Sanchez, 25, of Livingston Drive, East Windsor, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, refusal to submit breath samples, reckless driving, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, parking in a fire lane, possession of marijuana under 50 grams, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of a controlled dangerous substance in a motor vehicle at 2:24 a.m. July 24.
Also charged were his passengers, Jose Valdivieso-Oliver, 21, of Livingston Drive, East Windsor, and Cristian Pauta, 25, of Mechanic Street, Hightstown. Valdivieso-Oliver and Pauta were charged with possession of marijuana under 50 grams and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Sanchez, the driver, was stopped for parking in the fire lane of Krauszer’s Lot on Franklin Street and police smelled alcohol on his breath. Police said he was taken into custody after failing field sobriety tests. Police said a search of the vehicle revealed an open bottle of beer and a marijuana cigarette.
All three were transported to headquarters and were later released pending court action.
