East Windsor Fire Co. 2 Extinguishes Brush Fire

The fire department extinguished four areas of brush that were on fire along Route 133 yesterday evening

East Windsor Fire Co. 2 extinguished a brush fire along the Route 133 bypass in the area of the New Jersey Turnpike bridge yesterday evening.

Deputy Fire Chief Eric Coran, of East Windsor Volunteer Company No. 2, said that upon arrival around 4:40 p.m., he found four areas of brush on fire on the westbound side of the highway.

The fire company stopped the fire from spreading, eventually extinguishing the fire completely.

The cause of the fire is undetermined, Coran said.
