East Windsor Hold a Night Out Against Crime

The community got together for an informative and fun evening of activities at the Police Athletic League Complex.

For the 14th year in a row, East Windsor police and the township government hosted a community picnic to celebrate National Night Out.

The event, which was held at the complex on Airport Road, featured an array of free activities designed to bring crime awareness to the community.

The goal was to engage the community in prevention and safety, with child car seat inspections, Red Cross demonstrations and medical services, and fire and police equipment on display. Patrons witnessed prevention at work, with a fire hose presentation and a demonstration by a canine trained to detect illegal drugs. Other businesses and groups were on hand with giveaways and information.
