East Windsor Man Charged with Drug Distribution, Weapons Offense

An executed search warrant revealed drugs, distribution materials, and a weapon.

East Windsor police arrested an East Windsor resident of the Windsor Castle apartments for allegedly dealing drugs out of his apartment. Police executed a search warrant at Pedro Lopez’s address on the morning of Thursday, Jan. 31.

Several ounces of marijuana, scales, packaging materials, non-prescribed prescription narcotics, and a set of brass knuckles were seized in the investigation from Lopez’s apartment, according to police.

Lopez, 31, was arrested by Patrol Officer David Berez and charged with possession of marijuana over 50 grams, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana with intent to distribute in a drug free school zone, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of narcotics without a prescription, and a weapons offense.
 
The suspect was remanded in Mercer County Detention Center in default of $25,000 bail.
