Man Killed in Windsor Castle Stabbing
Christian Lemus-Estrada has been arrested and charged with homicide and weapons offenses.
A man was killed Friday night after being stabbed in the torso with a kitchen knife inside of a Windsor Castle apartment in East Windsor, according to police. Christian Lemus-Estrada, 18, allegedly stabbed Carlos Rafael Tinizhanay-Arias, 28, at around 11:40 p.m. on Friday, April 19.
Tinizhanay-Arias was transported to Robert Wood Johnson Hamilton Hospital for treatment and was pronounced dead at approximately 12:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 20, East Windsor police said.
The apartment where the stabbing took place was rented by an acquaintance of both Tinizhanay-Arias and Lemus-Estrada. East Windsor Police and the Mercer County Prosecutor’s Office located suspect Lemus-Estrada at a nearby apartment at around 2:40 a.m. on Saturday. He was placed under arrest and charged with homicide and weapons offenses.
Lemus-Estrada is currently in Mercer County Jail on $500,000 bail.
