East Windsor Police File DWI and Related Charges

Drunk driving arrests in the week leading up to Memorial Day.

last week reported charging several people with driving while intoxicated.

  • Mustafa Hussain, 25, of Greenwich Court, East Windsor, was charged May 23 with DWI, reckless driving, careless driving and DWI in a school zone.

Police said they responded to Greenwich Court at 1:20 a.m. for a noise complaint and saw a 2010 Toyota parked with its engine running and playing its music at an extremely loud volume. Police said Hussain’s eyes were bloodshot and water and that his speech was slurred. He was arrested after field sobriety tests.

  • Jose Espinoza, 46, of New Brunswick, was charged May 18 with DWI, reckless driving, careless driving, unsafe lane change, crossing a painted barrier, impeding traffic, obstructing traffic and consumption of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

Police said they responded to Wyckoff Mills Road at 11:57 p.m. for a report of a vehicle stopped in the middle of the street. Police said they arrived to find a 2000 Dodge stopped in the road and facing the wrong way. The driver, Espinoza, smelled of alcohol and had bloodshot, watery eyes, according to a police report. He was arrested after field sobriety tests.

  • Josue Negron-Camacho, 29, of Allentown, Pa., was charged May 15 with DWI, careless driving, reckless driving, unsafe lane change and failure to signal turn.

Police said they stopped him on Old Trenton Road at 2:37 a.m. after seeing him driving in an erratic manner near Route 571. Police said once they stopped him they smelled alcohol and saw he had bloodshot, watery eyes. He was arrested after field sobriety tests.
