East Windsor Police: Man Shoplifts from Walmart, Has Crack Pipe

A Trenton man allegedly stole from the Walmart in East Windsor; he was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia for allegedly having a crack pipe.

Josean Hernandez, of Trenton, was arrested by East Windsor Police and charged with shoplifting and possession of drug paraphernalia. Hernandez, 33, allegedly stole merchandise from the East Windsor Walmart on Route 130 on Tuesday, Jan. 22.

Police responded to the Walmart for a report of a shoplifting in progress as store personnel reportedly saw Hernandez leaving the store without paying for merchandise which was valued at $477.

Hernandez was located outside of the store and found to be in possession of the stolen merchandise, as well as a glass crack pipe, police said.

He was arressted and charged. Bail was set at $10,000 as Hernandez was also found to have several outstanding arrest warrants. He was remanded in Mercer County Detention Center in default of bail and is still in custody.
