Hightstown Hires New Police Officer
Tyler DiStefano previously worked for the borough as a Class II Officer.
Hightstown appointed Class II Special Law Enforcement Officer Tyler DiStefano as a full time regular police officer with the Hightstown Borough Police Department on Feb. 18.
DiStefano started his career with the Point Pleasant Beach Police Department on October 21, 2011. He began the Ocean County Police Academy on December 22, 2011. and graduated on May 25, 2012. He worked in Point Pleasant Beach until November 2012, at which point he obtained a Class II position with the Lakewood Police Department. He was later hired by Hightstown Borough as a Class II Officer on March 18, 2013.
