Hightstown Man Pleads Guilty to Child Pornography Production Charge

Fredy Arbito allegedly coerced a minor girl into performing sexual acts that were streamed over the internet over a two year period.

Hightstown resident Fredy Arbito pleaded guilty to one count of production of child pornography in front of U.S. District Judge Michael Shipp on Tuesday, according to U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman.

Arbito, 31, knowingly persuaded an 11-year-old girl to engage in sexually explicit conduct for the purpose of streaming it live over the internet, according to court documents. This event took place between July 2011 and January 2013. The court documents also revealed that the live video was transmitted using a means and facility of interstate and foreign commerce.

The charge which Arbito pleaded guilty to is punishable by a maximum potential penalty of 30 years in prison, with a mandatory minimum of 15 years in prison and a $250,000 fine, Fishman said. Arbito’s sentencing is scheduled for Feb. 4.
