Hightstown Police Blotter: Multiple Arrest Warrants

Three people were found to have multiple arrest warrants for being in contempt of court.

The following report is based on information released by Hightstown Borough police. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

On March 28 at 3:58 p.m. on Mercer Street, officers arrested Meliton Xicohtencatl, a 24-year-old man from Trenton and charged him with driving while suspended and contempt of court. A random license plate inquiry revealed that the vehicle’s registration was suspended and a credential check of the driver revealed his driving privileges suspended and two warrants for his arrest.

Xicohtencatl was arrested on traffic warrants issued by Chesterfield Municipal Court in the amount of $500 and Lawrence Township Municipal Court in the amount of $259. He was released upon posting bail with pending court action.

On March 29 at 5:40 p.m. on Route 33, officers took custody of Meghan Schenkenberger, a 25-year-old woman from Jackson and charged her with contempt of court.

Schenkenberger was taken into custody by Monroe Police on a warrant issued by Hightstown Borough Municipal Court in the amount of $1,722; while in custody, she was found to have an additional warrant issued by Marlboro Municipal Court in the amount of $1,000.  The subject was later released upon posting bail with pending court action.

On March 30 at 6:56 p.m. at Hightstown Borough Police Department, officers took custody of Jason Perry, 39, of Millstone Township, who turned himself in on a warrant. The warrant was in the amount of $1,500 and was issued by Millstone Municipal Court. Perry was released upon posting bail.
