Hightstown Police: License Plates Stolen, Business Burglarized

A list of police activity in Hightstown between April 18 and April 24.

The following report is based on information released by Hightstown Borough police. An arrest does not indicate a conviction.

On April 21 at 4:10 a.m. on Springcrest Drive, officers arrested Alexander Martinez, 18, of Westerlea Arms Apartments, and charged him with criminal mischief, resisting arrest by flight, and contempt of court.  Officers were dispatched to the area for a subject damaging the exterior of a residence.  Upon police arrival the subject fled on foot and was apprehended shortly thereafter.  The subject was found to have an active warrant issued by Hightstown Borough Municipal Court in the amount of $1,500.  The subject was released upon posting bail with pending court action.

Between April 22 at 8 p.m. and April 23 at 8 a.m. a local business was broken into in the 100 block of Main Street. Force was utilized to access the building and an undetermined amount of proceeds and products were taken from the establishment. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Hightstown Borough Police Department.

Between April 22 at 2 p.m. and April 24 at 8 a.m. four different vehicles, parked in the Stockton Street and Main Street Lots, have had their license plates stolen from the vehicles.  Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to contact the Hightstown Borough Police Department.
