Hightstown Police Search for Couple Who Allegedly Pick-Pocketed Woman

Police are searching for the couple who reportedly stole a wallet out of a woman's purse at South Pacific Florist last weekend.

Hightstown Police are looking for a couple who allegedly stole a wallet out of a woman's purse in South Pacific Florist last weekend. 

The victim of the crime told police that she saw a woman rifling through her purse while she was in the florist at around 3:45 p.m. on Aug. 10. The victim said that she confronted the woman who had been searching in the bag, according to police. 

After the confrontation, the pair left the store. A short while later, the victim realized that her wallet was missing, police said. 

The couple were described as both being Hispanic and around 30-years-old; the woman is about 5'3" with short blond hair and the man is around 5'7" with dark hair, police said.
