Locals Graduate from Fire Academy

The Monmouth County Fire Academy graduated a class of 96 on Tuesday, Jan. 22 including some familiar, local faces.

Among the graduates were Jason Fazzaro of Station 48 Cranbury, Michael Stewart of Volunteer 1 in Monroe, and Samuel Gomez East from Windsor Co. 2.

On Thursday, Jan. 24 class 97 will graduate 29 firefighters. Included will be two Jamesburg members Travis Lowande and Chris Reid.

In addition, Township Committeeman Jay Taylor received the Ronald Fitzpatrick Fire Fighter 1 outstanding achievement award that goes to the one student with the highest test scores and performance.
