Man Assaulted, Robbed at East Windsor Apartments

The man was robbed of a cell phone and money, police said.

A man was assaulted and robbed Saturday in the parking lot at the Windsor Regency Apartments in East Windsor, according to police.

The man was walking in the lot around 12:21 a.m. while talking on his phone when two men accosted him, police said. One man assaulted him from behind and as he was trying to flee, the assailant continued to assault him, police said. He was taken to the hospital for scrapes and a swollen eye.

The robbers took cash the man dropped during the assault and his cell phone.

The attacker is described as approximately a 20-year-old white male, about 180 pounds, 6-feet-1 tall with short blonde hair, and was wearing red shorts and a basketball jersey.

The other man with him is described as a black male, about 6-foot tall and 170 to 180 pounds, police said. He was wearing a brown t-shirt and dark colored jeans.
