The body of a 23-year-old Princeton man was found on Spring Street early Wednesday after he jumped from roof of the Spring Street garage, police said.
According to police:
At approximately 5:30 a.m., a Princeton patrol officer located an unresponsive man on the ground on Spring Street in the area of the Spring Street garage and S. Tulane Street.
Initial lifesaving measures were taken by patrols and additional medical resources were summoned to the scene. Continued efforts to revive the individual were unsuccessful and death was pronounced at the scene by medical personnel.
The initial investigation indicated the individual had intentionally jumped from the top level of the parking garage to the ground below and did not survive the fall.
Initial indications were also that foul play was not
involved. The matter remains under investigation by PPD Detectives. Anyone with
