Motor Vehicle Accident Sends East Windsor Woman to Hospital

Police said that the woman sustained non-life threatening injuries.

A motor vehicle collision on Route 571 sent an East Windsor woman to the hospital on Thursday afternoon.

Kshama Jagdale, 46, came to an abrupt stop for a school bus that had its loading and unloading signals activated while driving on Route 571 near Route 133. The car driving directly behind Jagdale was unable to come to a full stop and struck her vehicle, police said.

Jagdale sustained non-life threatening injuries, according to East Windsor Police, but was sent to Princeton Medical Center in Plainsboro for an evaluation of her injuries.

Robert Vickers, 42, of Lumberton, was driving the vehicle that struck Jagdale. East Windsor Police issued Vickers a careless driving ticket.
