Nine Unlocked Vehicles Burglarized Last Week

Police recommend locking unattended cars.

East Windsor police are urging residents to lock their cars after nine cars were burglarized in the overnight hours from July 10 to July 14.

All of the vehicles that had items stolen from them were unlocked, and on four local streets – East Ward Street, Abbington Drive, Cherrybrook Lane and Wyndmoor Drive, police said. Items including cash, GPS units, phone charges, a camera and a satellite radio were taken.

Police said they recommend keeping unattended car doors locked, and don’t have any information that would connect the burglaries and are looking at all possibilities.
