East Windsor police arrested an Ohio man after he was allegedly found to be driving a stolen car.
Patrolman Robert Davison pulled over a black Ford as it turned off of Route 130 onto Route 571 for failing to signal for the turn, according to police. Prior to the vehicle stopping, Davison discovered that the car had been reported stolen, police said.
The car pulled over and the driver, identified as David Sherry, of Rock River, Ohio, was arrested. Sherry, 42, was charged with receiving stolen property, contempt of court, failure to signal turn, operate motor vehicle without owner’s consent, driving while suspended, unlicensed driver, and failure to surrender drivers license. He also had several outstanding warrants for his arrest. Sherry was later released pending court action.
