Police Blotter: Criminal Mischief, Burglaries and Drug Possession

The following arrest information was supplied by the police department of East Windsor Township. It does not indicate a conviction.


Mountain Bike Reported Stolen

  Police said a bicycle was reported stolen between 9 p.m. June 20 and 9 a.m. June 21 at Windsor Regency Apartments. Police said the red GT mountain bike, worth $700, was left unsecured on the rear porch of the apartment.  Anyone with information is asked to call East Windsor Police at 609-448-5678.

 
 Resident Reports Stolen Packages

  Police said a Covington Drive resident reported that three packages left by delivery services outside his residence between May 17 and June 16 had been stolen.  The total value of the three items was $86.  Anyone with information is asked to call East Windsor Police at 609-448-5678.

Marijuana Odor Leads to Arrest for Drug Possession

  Gregory Pelissier, 22, of Irvington, was charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana on June 24. Police said they saw a suspicious vehicle in the parking lot of Princeton Arms South 2 at 2:52 a.m. with four occupants.  Police said the officer smelled burnt marijuana coming from the car and investigation revealed a bag of marijuana.  

Police said Pelissier, one of the occupants, admitted ownership of the marijuana.  Police also found warrants from Mt. Olive and Roxbury Municipal Courts for Pelissier.  He was turned over to Mt. Olive Police on the warrant from that jurisdiction.

 

Resident Reports Medication Stolen

Police said a Dennison Drive resident reported that medications she had ordered online were stolen from her front porch on May 12.  The value of the medications was $130, police said.

 

Woman Charged with Drug Possession

Karla Gonzalez, 19, of Railroad Avenue, was charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana on June 25.

Police said a suspicious vehicle was seen in the parking lot of Princeton Arms South 2 at 10:40 p.m.  Police said one person was in the vehicle and a woman was standing outside.  Police said they smelled marijuana around the vehicle and the woman, Gonzalez, threw something inside.  Police said an investigation revealed a bag of marijuana was inside the vehicle and she was charged with possession.  Gonzalez was later released pending court action.   

 
Items Reported Stolen from Vehicle

Police said a resident reported that an unlocked vehicle parked in the parking lot of Brookwood Gardens Apartments was entered between 8:30 p.m. on June 23 and 8:51 a.m. on June 24 and a GPS unit worth $200 was stolen.  A RADAR detector worth $500 was also reported stolen.  Anyone with information is asked to call East Windsor Police at 609-448-5678.
 
 Wallet Reported Stolen from Parked Car

  Police said a Bennington Drive resident reported that someone had stolen his wallet from his unlocked parked vehicle between 2:11 p.m. on June 22 and 10 a.m. on June 23.  Various personal papers as well as $10 cash were stolen, according to police. Anyone with information can call police at 609-448-5678.

Teen Charged With Drug Possession


A 17-year-old boy of Rockybrook Road was charged with possession of under 50 grams of marijuana on June 24.

Officers said they saw a suspicious vehicle with five occupants in the parking lot of the American Legion at 11:22 p.m. and smelled burnt marijuana coming from the vehicle.  A marijuana cigarette was recovered during the investigation and one of the occupants,  the 17-year-old, admitted ownership.  He was released to his parents.

Rock Thrown Through Apartment Window

Police responded to an address in The Orchard apartments for a report of a disturbance at 1:59 a.m. June 27.  The complainant reported that someone had thrown a rock through the front window of the apartment.  Police said an investigation revealed that there had been several individuals inside the residence consuming alcohol and an argument had ensued.  During the argument, one of the individuals unknown to the resident threw a rock at the window, causing damage estimated at $50. 

Man Charged With Prescription Drug Possession

Christopher M. Hare, 29, of Old Bridge, was charged with possession of a prescription drug not prescribed to him on June 28.

Police said a suspicious vehicle was parked in the Windsor Crossing Shopping Center parking lot at 2:33 a.m.  Police said an investigation revealed that the driver was in possession of prescription drugs not prescribed to him.  He was charged and released pending a court date.
