Police Blotter: Four DWIs in Late June
The following arrest information was supplied by the police department of Hightstown Borough. It does not indicate a conviction.
Hightstown Police reported four drunken driving incidents and two warrant arrests in late June.
Man Faces DWI, Speeding Charges
Ronald Miller, 37, of Branchville, was charged June 23 with driving while intoxicated, DWI in a school zone, reckless driving, and speeding.

Police said they stopped him on Franklin Street at 12:12 a.m. for driving 39 mph in a 25 mph zone. Police said they smelled alcohol on his breath and administered sobriety tests, which Miller failed, and his blood-alcohol level was measured at 0.07 percent. Miller was released to a friend with pending court action.
Woman Charged with DWI After Allegedly Driving Over Median

Patricia Casale, 55, of Robbinsville, was charged June 23 with driving while intoxicated, DWI in a school zone, reckless driving, and driving over a sidewalk.
Hightstown Police said they stopped her while on patrol at 11:39 p.m. on Mercer Street after seeing her drive over the center median. Police said they smelled alcohol and administered field sobriety tests, which Casale failed, and her blood-alcohol level was measured at 0.11 percent. Casale was released to a family member.
Asbury Park Police Pick up Man Wanted on Hightstown Warrant
Tallyn Summers, 37, of Howell, was charged with a Hightstown Borough Municipal Court warrant for $1,438 after he was picked up by Asbury Park Police Department in that municipality just after midnight on June 25. Summers was turned over to Hightstown Police and lodged in the Mercer County Adult Correction Center in lieu of bail.
Hightstown Woman Charged with DWI
Leonore Tindall, 58, of Morrison Avenue, was charged with driving while intoxicated, DWI in a school zone, failure to maintain lane, reckless driving, careless driving, and speeding on June 25.
Hightstown Police stopped her on Summit Street at 11:50 p.m. for driving 35 mph in a 25 mph zone, crossing the double yellow line and traveling in the opposing lane of travel. Police said they smelled alcohol and administered field sobriety tests, which she failed. Her blood-alcohol level was measured at 0.07 percent. She was released to a family member.
Traffic Stops Yields Outstanding Warrant
Randolph Brolo, 33, of Lumberton, was stopped on Franklin Street at 4:21 p.m. on June 26 for having a rejected inspection sticker and a credential check revealed a $500 traffic warrant issued by New Hanover Municipal Court. Brolo was released upon posting bail.
Man Faces Multiple Drug Charges and DWI After Stop at Checkpoint
Kevin Mulcahey, 37, of Matawan, was charged with possession of a Schedule IV narcotic, possession of a prescription legend drug, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while intoxicated, driving while intoxicated in a school zone, refusal to submit breath samples, and having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle on June 28.
Police stopped Mulcahey at a motor vehicle checkpoint on Mercer Street at 11:34 a.m. Police said they smelled alcohol on his breath, and administered field sobriety tests, which he failed. A search of the vehicle revealed an open container of beer, vodka, and a small baggie containing Xanax pills, according to police. He was transported to headquarters where police said he refused to submit breath samples. Mulcahey was released to a friend.
