Police: East Windsor Man Choked, Threatened Woman

The following arrest information was supplied by the police department of East Windsor Township. It does not indicate a conviction.

A local man faces charges after said he attacked and threatened to kill a woman in what they called a domestic violence incident.

Lance Jenkins, 47, of the was charged June 12 with aggravated assault, terroristic threats, harassment and criminal mischief. 

Police said they responded to the motel at 1:20 a.m. for a report of a disturbance. At the scene, the victim told police that during an argument, Jenkins had attacked her by throwing her against a wall, placing his hands around her neck and squeezing, and at the same time “telling the victim that he was going to kill her,” police said. The victim’s neck was visibly injured, but she refused medical treatment, according to a police report.

Jenkins was sent to the Mercer County Detention Center in lieu of $10,000 bail, with no option to post 10 percent for release.
