Police: East Windsor Man Said He Would 'Shoot Up the Schools'

Luke J. Freedman was charged with making terroristic threats. No weapons were found in his home.

A 29-year-old East Windsor man was taken into custody after allegedly threatening to “shoot up the schools” in a social media posting.

East Windsor police received a report on Monday at 1 p.m. that Luke J. Freedman, of Danbury Court, had issued the threats. Freedman, who claims to have an on-going dispute with a television network, made the remark in an attempt to receive assistance from the station, police said.

Police did not find firearms or ammunition during a search of Freedman’s home and person.

Freedman was charged with making terroristic threats and was remanded to Mercer County Corrections on $50,000 bail.
