Police: East Windsor Man Said He Would 'Shoot Up the Schools'

Luke J. Freedman was charged with making terroristic threats. No weapons were found in his home.

A 29-year-old East Windsor man was taken into custody after allegedly threatening to “shoot up the schools” in a social media posting.

East Windsor police received a report on Monday at 1 p.m. that Luke J. Freedman, of Danbury Court, had issued the threats. Freedman, who claims to have an on-going dispute with a television network, made the remark in an attempt to receive assistance from the station, police said.

Police did not find firearms or ammunition during a search of Freedman’s home and person.

Freedman was charged with making terroristic threats and was remanded to Mercer County Corrections on $50,000 bail.

This is the most incomplete news story ever. An ongoing dispute with a television station about what? Assistance with what? Vague and baffling story.....

I agree with Ryan... What the heck kind of a story is this? Incredibly vague and baffling!

I am hearing that the police could not find Danbury Court in Twin Rivers . Are the cars not equipped with GPS? Or at worst a map of where the streets are. They were on the other side of Rt33 near McKnight school not the Drew School. If this is true it is totally unacceptable. This could have turned into a serious situation and totally should be looked into immediately. The school locations should be a no brainer.
