Police: Hightstown Man Lunges at Officer During Arrest

East Windsor police arrested a man and a woman who were allegedly fighting in front of the American Legion.

East Windsor police arrested two Hightstown residents who were fighting with one another outside of the American Legion last week, one of whom allegedly lunged at the investigating officers, according to police. 

While officers were on patrol in the parking lot of the American Legion at around 1:45 a.m. on July 28 they said they saw two people fighting. Janneth Orozco-Naulaguari, 25, was arrested and charged with disorderly conduct without incident, according to police. 

The other suspect, Fernando Tiniganay, 18, reportedly lunged at the investigating officer while holding up his hands in an aggressive manner, according to police.  Tiniganay was also arrested and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
