Police: Two Arrested After Officer Observes Drug Deal

Drug Offense

Two people were arrested and charged with drug offenses after an East Windsor police officer allegedly witnessed what police described as a “hand-to-hand drug transaction” at the WaWa convenience store on Hickory Corner Road about 2:10 p.m. on March 12.

Detective James Vandegrift took Robert Mastellone and Seena Alipour into custody after he saw Mastellone give Alipour three oxycodone pills in exchange for a quantity of cash, police allege.

Mastellone, 20, of Bristol Way in East Windsor, was charged with drug distribution, while Alipour, 24, of the Princeton Junction section of West Windsor, was charged with drug possession, police said, noting that Mastellone was lodged in the Mercer County Correction Center in lieu of $35,000 bail, and Alipour was later released with court action pending.

Criminal Mischief

East Windsor police are investigating an act of criminal mischief that occurred on Teal Court about 5 p.m. on March 10. “The complainant reported that, while inside his residence, he heard a loud noise from downstairs and investigated to find that his front door had been broken open, causing damage to the lock as well as the door frame,” police said in a news release. Damage was estimated at $500.

Trespassing

East Windsor police are attempting to identify a woman who committed an act of trespassing by entering an apartment at the Princeton Arms North 1 complex about 1:10 a.m. on March 8.

The resident of the apartment told police she was sleeping in her living room when she was awakened by the sound of the front door opening and someone entering the apartment.

The trespasser – who was described as a black woman with a “dark” complexion, about 5 feet 5 inches tall and 175 pounds, wearing a black and white skirt and black jacket – “apologized” and left the apartment after she spotted the resident, police said, noting that the resident said the trespasser spoke with “a Caribbean accent of some type.”
