Report: East Windsor Man Assaults 3 Plainsboro Cops

An East Windsor man allegedly assaulted three Plainsboro police officers, according to a Centraljersey.com report.

An East Windsor man reportedly assaulted three Plainsboro police officers, according to Centraljersey.com. Yoshua Werts-Galloway, 21, was pulled over on June 19 after he allegedly made an illegal left turn. The Plainsboro police officer said that he smelled marijuana on Werts-Galloway and attempted to take the keys away from him, the report said. 

Werts-Galloway allegedly refused to turn over the keys and then assaulted three police officers, according to the report. He was arrested and charged with resisting arrest, aggravated assault on police officers, and obstruction and was taken to Middlesex County Correctional Center in lieu of $15,000 bail, the report said. 

According to Centraljersey.com, the car was impounded by police and when police searched it they reportedly saw marijuana packaged for distribution, a digital scale, and packaging material. Additional drug and distribution charges were filed against Werts-Galloway, the report said.
