Traffic Alert: Car Strikes Utility Pole on Dey Road Causing Lane Closure

Residents are advised to avoid Dey Road near Route 130.

South Brunswick Police are advising residents to avoid Dey Road near Route 130 after a traffic accident late this morning.

At approximately 10:45 a.m. a car struck a utility pole about one mile from Route 130, causing the pole to lean into the roadway. The accident has forced the closure of Dey Road's westbound lane.

Police are awaiting the arrival of PSE&G to assess the damage. There were no injuries suffered in the accident.
