Turnpike Car Fire Causes Major Delays During Rush Hour
Delays have reached around an hour in the area, according to the Department of Transportation.
A car fire on the New Jersey Turnpike northbound in Cranbury has closed one lane Wednesday afternoon, according to the state Department of Transportation.
The report came in around 4:27 p.m. and there is about an hour traffic delay northbound, and about a 10 to 15 minute delay southbound, the DOT reported. The right lane northbound is blocked.
There are no injuries, according to the New Jersey State Police.
