Vehicle Overturns on NJ Turnpike in Cranbury

State police said there was one injury and the scene has been cleared.

A vehicle overturned near the Molly Pitcher Rest Area on the New Jersey Turnpike in Cranbury at about 1:45 p.m. today, Thursday.

State police said only one vehicle was involved on the southern lanes of the highway, and one person was transported to the hospital for a non-serious injury. The scene was cleared by 2:05 p.m., state police said. Preliminary reports said the vehicle was in the left shoulder.

511nj.org reports delays of up to 4 miles in the area north of the accident, which state police said took place near milemarker 69.5.
